Album Cover Design
Inspired by William Longhauser for Talking Heads
This project explores the intersection of visual art and music through a conceptual album cover design for the band Talking Heads. Drawing inspiration from postmodern artist William Longhauser—particularly his work Donovan & Green—the design embraces bold geometry, vibrant color, and structured abstraction.
By fusing Longhauser’s visual language with symbolic elements reflective of the band’s genre-defying sound, the result is a cover that captures both the essence of the artist’s influence and the experimental identity of Talking Heads. This piece stands as both a creative homage and an exercise in translating complex musicality into compelling visual form.
