Short Film | Writer · Director · Cinematographer · Game Designer
A woman’s mind becomes intertwined with an artificial intelligent videogame.
The Last Game is a short film about quiet goodbyes, lingering tension, and the moments we remember long after they’ve passed. Set around a simple game of Pong, the story unfolds with minimal dialogue, letting silence, expression, and atmosphere do the talking.
In addition to writing, directing, and shooting the film, I also designed and programmed the custom Pong game featured throughout. Built to echo the emotional rhythm of the story, the game isn’t just a backdrop — it’s part of the narrative, symbolizing rivalry, connection, and change.
The film was shot with a small crew and a focus on authenticity. Natural light, handheld shots, and detailed sound design helped create an environment that feels real and intimate. Every visual choice was made to support the emotional core of the story.
